I live in a place with Summer all year round (plus the humidity, urgh). But that doesn’t mean I can’t style my home with the seasons. If you’re skipping decorating for Spring, you’re missing out. It’s all about the inspiring colors; the perfect excuse to use hard-to-pull-off colors such as pink, coral, lemon yellow. And a flamingo…
Sure, you don’t have your Christmas decoration out on display all year round. But here’s 7 easy ways to include spring colors in your home, the best part? They stay fresh throughout the year.
// DISPLAY FRUIT //
Of course, fruit don’t stay fresh throughout the year (unless they’re artificial ones). Displaying fruit is one of the easiest way in my book to add pops of color and some personality to your home. Not everyone is an expert in rearranging bookshelves or hanging a gallery wall but you’ll see how displaying fruit in beautiful vessel can effortlessly brighten a room plus you can eat them.

A mostly neutral place will benefit greatly from vibrant art like this. To avoid busyness, hang one big piece like above. Repeat colors from the art piece in your cushions or throws to pull it together.
// JEWELS AND PASTELS //

If you’re still hesitating to use jewel tones or pastels, now is the chance. Pastels do great on walls (they’re hot this year) or as backdrop (like on your sofa). Add pops of jewel tones to complete the look. A colorful rug also does wonders.
// SOFT DRAPERY //
Indoor or outdoor doesn’t matter, they works in any room. The key is airy, flowy and breezy. Drapery like above says Spring is here.
// ADD GREENERY //

If you’re not sure what to do with a stark place or an odd corner that nothing seems to fit there, consider greenery. Plants soften a space, they’re great in masculine spaces preventing them from going into full man cave.
// COLORFUL ACCESSORIES //
Make working or studying interesting by adding colorful accessories to your desk. Whether it means hot pink or turquoise. Bright colors can make a space look kiddish, keep it classy by mixing in metals or even wood. Brass or copper are really hot right now. You can have a happy yet elegant space.
// TINTED GLASS //

Tinted vases are beautiful, set them in front of your window and see them sparkles in the light. See through also means less visual clutter. Kitchens or bedrooms, they work in all kinds of spaces.
Now that you’re convinced to let a little bit of Spring into your home (or maybe all of it), go ahead and shop for the look. I only included items that works with every style (Minimalist or Traditional), neutral spaces or not. The cushions and throws I picked works with any sofas including the leather ones.
